Wiener Meistermischung

Wiener Meistermischung is a carefully composed blend of 100% Arabica coffees from Central and South America, created with one clear goal: to deliver a dense, dry, and intensely flavorful coffee without using Robusta, while still producing a rich cup and a firm crema when prepared as espresso.

To achieve this profile, the blend is roasted slightly longer, allowing its sweet, chocolate-driven character to take center stage in the cup. The result is a coffee with very low fruit acidity and a deeply satisfying flavor profile for those who appreciate dense chocolate notes and a full-bodied espresso experience.

In the aroma, the coffee reveals notes of butter caramel, madeleines, and delicate pastry-like sweetness.
On the palate, it develops rich tones of nougat, dark chocolate, and nuts, followed by a sweet and dry finish.

All coffees in the blend are processed using the washed method, which helps preserve clarity and balance while supporting the blend’s elegant structure.

The name Wiener Meistermischung is not meant as self-praise. Like several of our other coffees, it is inspired by music — in this case by the three great masters of Viennese classicism: Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven. Their shared qualities of refinement, elegance, and sensitivity are reflected here in the choice of Arabica varieties, which are more aromatic, more nuanced, and also more delicate and demanding than Robusta plants.

This blend is especially suited for classic brewing methods, with a clear focus on:

It also performs beautifully as Cold Brew, where its chocolate character remains smooth, elegant, and expressive.
